Gothenburg World Cup Horse Show 2013

Did anyone spot 4.5 year old Izabella at the Gothenburg World Cup Horse Show in Sweden???  This 2o second clip was shown during the show as a sequel  to the one shown a couple years ago when Izabella was 2.5 years old. :) https://vimeo.com/28424415

Of course she is riding with a Fortis et Libér pad as well.  ;)

Look at these super cute beds!

Oh my gosh, these are adorable! They would be soooo cute in a little equestrian girls/boys room. There’s not only this one but others as well. I think that I know what I’ll get my little girl for Christmas. ;)

You can see more of them at http://www.ponybeds.com/ponybeds/

Love this belt

I came across this Dimacci belt and just love it.

Butterscotch’s Blog

So here I am, Butterscotch, with my own blog. :) How many horses/ponies have their own blog. ;) This will be fun. I’ll share all my experiences, my thoughts, cool ideas and maybe I’ll even share some secret recipes.

Here’s the link to my blog: http://myhorsestyle.com/butterscotch/

See you guys there. ;)

Butterscotch arrives…

And so the little one arrives. It was fun to see him meet his new friends. They are a laid back group of guys. It was pretty much only the grey Arabian gelding that came up to check him out and then eventually Canyon, the bay Arabian, that came to say hi. The others just continued on doing their own thing and didn’t even check him out. :) It was interesting to see that the grey was actually the one that put Butterscotch in his place and the grey was the lowest in the pecking order because he had only been with the group for a couple of weeks. Guess he was feeling pretty good about being able to boss someone around. :)

Here’s a little video of his arrival in the herd.

Coming soon…

Say hi to Butterscotch, a soon to be 6 year old Welsh cross pony. He will be in training and will be a part of the lesson program when he is ready. He has not yet been started and I am excited to see how he will progress. He is a real sweetie and a lovely mover as well. He arrives here on Saturday. I will keep you updated on his progress. :)

and so My Horse Style expands….

So not only will My Horse Style offer unique top quality products designed in Sweden, now My Horse Style will offer horse sales, horses for lease and lessons! All this will take a little time to build up but I am excited about this expansion. If you have any horses for sale/lease and would like them listed on my website please send me an e-mail at sara@myhorsestyle.com. More info and updates to come soon…

Back again…

Ok, so I have been very bad at keeping this blog going. ;) Just noticed that I haven’t posted anything for over a month! Shame on me. :) Guess it’s just been busy lately and I haven’t gotten around to it. Anyway, started off this show season at the Greenville Equestrian Center Dressage show on April 1st. Very nice facility and especially love the palm trees there. So I was a little nervous about this show since I had just bought a “pop up” canopy tent and I was going to be putting it up myself. It all turned out fine, with a little help from some men. Anyways, I decided to play an April Fools joke and texted a friend (who knew I was nervous about setting the canopy up) and said that a gust of wind came, my tent flew up and into the arena and someone fell off. He totally believed me and the news spread to two others (one of them being my husband) who also believed it! Pretty funny but I got paid back because about a half an hour later, a gust of wind came and my tent actually almost flew away!

Gothenburg Horse Show 2012

Once again the Gothenburg Horse was held in Sweden.  Some amazing rides both by dressage rider and jumpers.  Wish I could have been there.  Maybe one year I will go. :)  Anyway, here is a little greeting from Camilla Falgén, the owner and designer of Fortis et Liber.  :)
